Romy Vreden, born in 1994 in Rotterdam, studied musical theatre from 2010 to 2014. From 2015 to 2019 she studied acting at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. In 2018 she performed in KIDS, a co-production of Toneelgroep Oostpool and Theatre Sonnevanck. She was also a soloist at the Opera Forward Festival 2018. In 2021 she and her theatre collective Johnny come lately, were appointed Nieuwkomers at Orkater, a nationally operating Amsterdam company making contemporary music theatre. In 2023 they will develop and perform their own production Yucki's revenge there. She has been an ensemble member at Schauspielhaus Bochum since the 2019/2020 season.
