Andrea Belfi, born in Italy in 1979, is an Italian composer, drummer and experimental musician. At the end of his school years, he played in various punk bands until he studied art in Milan. After graduating, he became interested in experimental music and began his career as a musician. Belfi's performances are known for being energetic and hypnotic.
In 2019, he opened the Thom Yorke tour and he worked and toured with many other artists, including Nils Frahm, Mouse on Mars, Circuit des Yeux. He has also performed at the Philharmonie de Paris, the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Greek Theatre (Los Angeles), the Unsound Festival (Krakow), the Barbican Center (London), the Issue Project Room (New York) and the CTM Festival (Berlin).
