Jana Eiting completed her master's degree in Transcultural Studies at the University of Bremen in 2017 and was awarded the Rainer Alsheimer Prize for her thesis. In parallel she toured internationally from 2011 to 2018 with the German-Canadian artist collective Mammalian Diving Reflex. During this time she was particularly involved in the projects The Children's Choice Awards and Teentalitarism, which were shown at the Ruhrtriennale 2012-2017. Since the 2018/2019 season she has been working permanently at the Junges Schauspielhaus in Bochum, Germany, where she continues her work with Darren O'Donnell, the founder and artistic director of Mammalian Diving Reflex. In the 2020/2021 season she co-directs The Last Minutes Before Mars with Darren O'Donnell at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
