Sara Hasenbrink, born 1977 in Dorsten, is a body and puppet player and actress. She studied with masters of contemporary Japanese dance, the Figurentheaterkolleg in Bochum and the University of Dortmund. She works with all sorts of people, animals, texts and figures, she does street and space theatre. She teaches mask making and gives workshops on body and voice training. For her work OpheliaMaschine she received the Fritz-Wortelmann-Prize of the city of Bochum in 2013. At the Junges Schauspielhaus Bochum she already led a puppet theatre gang in the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 seasons. The 2022/2023 season will see Sara Hasenbrink's production of Wie Rosie den Käsekopter erfand at the Theaterrevier.
