The blind pianist Jörg Siebenhaar studied accordion, composition and jazz piano at the Folkwang-Hochschule in Essen and passed his artistic maturity examination there in 1996. He began his musical career in early childhood with the accordion and church organ. His life has been shaped by jazz and keyboard instruments, and he has participated in many theatre and television productions as a composer and musician. He is a member of the trio Spirituoso with Markus Wienstroer and the tango sextet Un Tango Más, which is well-known in the Ruhr area. He has also appeared in television shows with Desirée Nick and Jürgen von der Lippe. Bobby Hebb, known for his world success Sunny, also engaged Jörg Siebenhaar for his last European tour. In 2022 he will appear in the production Mit anderen Augen at the Schauspielhaus Bochum.
