Born in the Netherlands in 1980, Theun Mosk studied theatre technology at the Academy for Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam and theatre design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Rotterdam. He developed from a theatre technician into one of the leading dutch theatre producers, lighting and stage designers, sculptors and scenographers. He designs concepts for exhibitions, installations and stage spaces for drama, dance and musical theatre productions, for example for the opera UPLOAD (Michael van der Aa) at the Bregenz Festival (2021). The artist has long collaborated with directors Boukje Schweigman, Paul Koek and Marcus Azzini, Theatre Artemis, choreographers Ann van der Broek, Nicole Beutler and Medhi Walerski.
