Friederike Ott, born 1983 in Cologne, is a German actress. She began studying education in Cologne and acted in a free theatre group at the university. After her intermediate diploma, she transferred to the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main. There she studied acting until 2009, graduating with a diploma.
In 2007, she was already engaged by Schauspiel Frankfurt in her second year. She also had guest engagements at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Stadttheater Koblenz. After completing her studies, she received her first permanent engagement at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden in 2009. In 2013 she was awarded the Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize in the performing arts category and the Kurt-Meisel Promotion Prize of the Friends of the Residenztheater.
From 2017 to 2022 she was a permanent ensemble member at Schauspiel Frankfurt. There she worked with Andreas Kriegenburg, Roger Vontobel, Jan Neumann, Marlene Anna Schäfer and Christina Tscharyisk, among others.
Friederike Ott has also been active in film and television since 2008 and works as a voice-over artist. She has appeared in various film and television productions and thus took on, among other things, one of the episode lead roles in the Munich Tatort - Der Tod ist unser ganzes Leben and appeared in the ZDF series Unter Verdacht alongside Senta Berger and Ulrich Noethen.
