Tim-Fabian Hoffmann, born in Rheine in 1987, studied acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg from 2010 to 2014. Together with his cohort, he was awarded the ensemble prize and the students' prize at the 2013 Schauspielschultreffen for Ein Sportstück. Since graduating, he has worked as a freelance actor. Various engagements have brought him to the Schaubühne Berlin, the Ingolstadt Theatre and, since 2015, repeatedly to the Schauspielhaus Bochum. He also collaborates with independent theatres and collectives, including Living Dance Company Beijing, FFT Düsseldorf and Rottstr. 5 Theater Bochum. In the cinema he can be seen in DESIRE WILL SET YOU FREE by Yony Leyser and LASVEGAS by Kolja Malik. Tim-Fabian Hoffmann is part of the ActOut initiative as well as a member of the Queer Media Society. He also deals with queer* content and perspectives in his own productions.
