Kevin Fay, born in Washington D.C. (USA) in 1984, did a B.A. of Dance and Communication Studies at the Northwestern University. He trained in dance at both Northwestern and The Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance, where he performed with Larry Long & Dolores Lipinski's Civic Ballet of Chicago. He also trained with The Ailey School, American Ballet Theater, The Taylor School, and The Hubbard Street Dance Center. He has danced with Dayton Ballet in Ohio and Dana Tai Soon Burgess & Company in Washington, D.C.. As a freelance artist in New York City for seven years, he performed and toured nationally and internationally. He trained regularly with Janet Panetta, taught in various studios, and collaborated on new opera productions at The Metropolitan Opera, Bard College SummerScape, and Washington National Opera. Since 2016 he works as a freelance performer with Veli Lehtovaara, Eric Minh Cuong Castaing, and Eleanor Bauer. He also works independently as a writer. At Schauspielhaus Bochum he is participating in Eleanor Bauer's production New Joy in the 2018/19 season.
