Anouk Peeters, born in Ranchi, India in 1982, studied jewelery and silver smithing as well as textile design. She has been practicing dance since the age of 5. Her work was shown in exhibitions in Belgian galleries and museums. In 2007 she co-founded an independent atelier and gallery based in Antwerp. In 2010/2011 she started to run the home gallery Victor trixie in Antwerp. She worked for Hermès, Bernard Wilhelm, Sint Lucas Antwerp and other designers, as well as for the movie industry. In 2014 she started to work as a dancer. She trained contemporary dance techniques and contemporary ballet. She worked together with choreographers as Yuika Hashimoto, David Van Dijcke, Andara Moeis and had the opportunity to train perform and teach in Indonesia and Singapore. She is also teaching yoga. Currently she is training contemporary ballet as well as vocals in Paris. In the 2018/19 season she is part of Eleanor Bauer’s production New Joy at the Schauspielhaus Bochum.
