Camillo Guthmann, born in 2000 in Bingen am Rhein, gained his first music and theatre experience at the Stagecoach school for young people in Mainz. In 2015, he joined the ensemble of the Jungen Staatsmusical at the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden, where he was also involved in opera, drama and performance productions. Here he worked with directors such as Ulrike Arnold, Bernd Mottl and Adriana Altaras. This was followed by projects at theatres in Ludwigshafen, Mainz, Frankfurt and Marburg. In 2021, he won the young talent award for best acting performance at the Baden-Württemberg Filmschau and appeared in the Netflix true crime series ''Der Fall Jens Söring''. He is currently studying acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts and was part of the 54-Hours-Performances exhibition at the Folkwang Museum in Essen from 2022 to 2023, curated by the first Pina Bausch guest professor Marina Abramovic.
