Stefan Britze, born in Berlin, studied stage and costume design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. From 2013 he worked as an assistant at the Berliner Volksbühne, among others with Frank Castorf/Bert Neumann. His own works were created at the Thalia Theater, Hamburg, at the Münchner Kammerspiele, at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and in the independent scene. Invitations and guest performances followed at the Festival Radikal Jung 2014, at the Bayerische Theatertage 2013, Baltic House Festival St. Petersburg 2012, Salzburg Young Actors 2012, Deutsche Dramaturgische Gesellschaft 2012. Stefan Britze is also active as a freelance artist, realizes installations in clubs and off-locations, is DJ, member of the band Utopie 2000 and part of the group Mycel. At Schauspielhaus Bochum he will realize the stage design for White People's Problems / The Evil Dead in the 2018/2019 season.
