Nadja Bruder, born in 1995 in Switzerland, gathered her first acting experience at Theater Basel, the Stadttheater Solothurn and the Junge Bühne Bern. She began studying for her Artist Diploma in Acting at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Bochum/Essen in 2017. Since starting her studies, she has performed at the Folkwang Theaterzentrum in Bochum and at the Pina Bausch Theater in Essen. The piece Prinz Jussuf von Theben (directed by Kieran Joel) took her to the Tmu-Na-Theater in Tel Aviv, The Icubator Theatre in Jerusalem and to the Wuppertaler Bühnen. She was awarded the Armin Ziegler Förderpreis in 2019. During the season 2019/2020 she performs in Die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika gegen Herbert Nolan (directed by Thomas Dannemann, world premiere) in the Zeche Eins of Schauspielhaus Bochum.
