Clara Schwinning, born in Hannover in 1992, studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Bochum from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, she studied English/American Studies and Business Administration at the universities of Mannheim and Ankara, graduating in 2016, while working on various projects for the Bürgerbühne at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, directed by Miriam Tscholl and Volker Lösch, among others. This was followed by internships with Florian Fiedler at Schauspiel Hannover and Bernadette Sonnenbichler at Schauspiel Frankfurt. With the production Prinz Jussuf von Theben, directed by Kieran Joel, she made guest appearances at the Tmu Na Theater in Tel Aviv, the Incubator Theater in Jerusalem and the Theater am Engelsgarten in Wuppertal. In the 2019/2020 season she could be seen in Die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika gegen Herbert Nolan (Director: Thomas Dannemann) in Zeche Eins at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
