Eléonore Bonah, born in 1998 in Strasbourg, studied literature and philosophy as well as tap dance with Victor Cuno in Paris. She then continued her acting studies in Paris at the Ecole Internationale Jacques Lecoq, where she performed under the direction of Olivia Corsini and Serge Nicolaï.  Shortly before she wanted to start an apprenticeship as a wood sculptor in Potsdam, she met Johan Simons at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg in April 2018 and followed him to Schauspielhaus Bochum as assistant director from September 2018. She worked there with him, Tobias Staab, Karin Henkel and Herbert Fritsch, among others. In the 2019/20 season she will direct the city project Die Erde ist eine Kugel in Bochum.
