Christopher Bruckman, born in New York, has lived in Germany since 2010. He was a tutor at the Koblenz Theatre and solo repetiteur with conducting duties at the Hagen Theatre as well as the Semperoper in Dresden and is currently engaged at the Aalto Theatre in Essen. He has conducted the Bochum Symphony Orchestra, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, the Rheinische Philharmonie and the Philharmonic Orchestra Hagen. At the Ruhrtriennale he conducted the musical rehearsals of Hans Werner Henze's Das Floß der Medusa and EVOLUTION and his recording Café Beethoven as a soloist with ChorWerk Ruhr has been released by Coviello Classics in the anniversary-year of Beethhoven in 2020. Christopher Bruckman is additionally a stage performer and accordionist, and since 2015 he has been a permanent member of the Bochum-based post-inclusive performance collective dorisdean.
