Paul Hankinson, born in Australia, lives in Berlin and works as a pianist, composer, arranger and songwriter. He studied at the Queensland Conservatorium and went on to graduate with the University Medal. In Berlin, he initially worked as a songwriter of pop songs before releasing his album Montmorensy - Writ in Water (Traumton) in 2011. Paul Hankinson has worked with artists such as Megan Washington, Kate Miller-Heidke, Damian Rebgetz, Fiora, Katharine Mehrling, Cusch Jung and Shiobhan Stagg. As a composer, pianist and musical director, he has already worked on theatre productions at the Münchener Kammerspiele, Hebbel am Ufer, the Neukölln Opera and the Brisbane Powerhouse, among others. Further, he has composed arrangements for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Babelsberg Film Orchestra. Paul Hankinson also works as a signature artist for the online sheet-music store Musicnotes. In 2017 he released his solo piano album Echoes of a Winter Journey (Traumton).
