Erno Aaltonen, born 1985, is a lighting designer, scenographer and co-producer in the performing arts. His work takes place between the performance and the audience, in artistic dialogue, visual design and technical production. He is interested in how the contemporary stage works and how understanding design can help us understand the ideologies that shape our arts. Aaltonen frequently collaborates with choreographers Sonya Lindfors, Ima Iduozee and Anna Maria Häkkinen.
