Mateusz Staniak, born in 1990 in Leszno (Poland), studied History of Philospohy and Philosophy of Language at Adam Miciewicz University in Poznan, Poland. In 2016 he moved to Amsterdam to study theater directing. In 2020 he graduated from Academie voor Theater en Dans with the two performances Korinthe, 2057 and The Limits. In the 2020/2021 season he has written and directed a multichannel installation based on Homer’s Odyssey for an online platform of Noord Nederlands Toneel in Groningen. In the season 2021/2022 he will continue his collaboration with Noord Nederlands Toneel and start teaching improvisation to acting and directing students.
