Jasmin Maghames, born in 1990 in Lippstadt, studied theatre studies and German language and literature at the Ruhr University in Bochum. During her studies, she worked as an assistant at the Institute for Theatre Studies and in various projects at the Folkwang University of the Arts as an assistant director, translator and interpreter. In 2016 she was employed for one year at the Goethe Institut Ramallah in the Palestinian Territories. From 2018 to 2021, she was employed as a dramaturg at the Ringlokschuppen Ruhr in Mülheim an der Ruhr. She has been dramaturg at the Schauspielhaus Bochum since the 2021/2022 season. She is a board member of the Dramaturgical Society.
