Wiebke Mollenhauer grew up in Ilmenau. After her acting training at the Hamburg Theatre Academy, she assisted a doctor in India for six months and was then engaged at Schauspiel Frankfurt from 2011 to 2014, where she also worked with Christopher Rüping for the first time. As a guest, she appeared at the Burgtheater Wien as Ophelia in Andrea Breth's production of Hamlet. She has been an ensemble member at the Deutsches Theater Berlin since the 2014/15 season and has also performed regularly at the Münchner Kammerspiele in Christopher Rüping's productions since 2017.
