Lasha Iashvili, born in 1989, came to Vienna after studying about iconography, restoration and arts and crafts and studied from 2013 to 2019 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in the master class of scenography with Prof. Anna Viebrock and Greta Goiris and graduated with honors. In addition to exhibitions of graphic design and photography in galleries in Vienna, he completed internships in stage design at the Thalia Theater and the Schauspielhaus Hamburg with Christoph Marthaler, among others. In 2016 he designed the set for the theater production Host and Guest. In 2018 and 2019, he designed for Sasha Rau at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg the Autorenzimmer and in Vienna Noch so ein verkommenes Ufer with and by Sasha Rau. In the 2019/2020 season, he worked as a stage and costume design assistant at the Staatstheater Kassel, among others. Since 2020 he is engaged as costume design assistant at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
