Sophia Deimel, born 1994 in Menden (Sauerland), studied costume design at the Toneelacademie Maastricht and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover, where she graduated with distinction in 2020. In addition to internships at the Bühnen Köln, she assisted and interned on various television productions and music videos.
During her studies she designed the costume design for the play Die verschwundene Klasse at the Studiotheater Hannover directed by Stephan Hintze, which won an award at the Festival International Des Ecoles Supérieures d'Art Dramatique in Rabat.
Since the 2020/21 season, she has been a permanent costume design assistant at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
