Svetlana Belesova was born in 1988 in Crimea (Ukraine/Russia). She studied acting at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding from 2013 to 2017. Before that she studied media studies and political sciences at the Technical University of Dresden. In the season 2017/2018 she was engaged at the Staatstheater Nürnberg. She received a scholarship of Deutscher Bühnenverein in 2014 and was awarded the Bayerischer Kunstförderpreis in the category "Performing Arts" in 2017. Since the 2018/2019 season she is a member of the ensemble of Schauspielhaus Bochum.
