Koen Tachelet, born 1964 in Antwerp, Belgium, was a dramaturg at the NTGent Theatre under the direction of Johan Simons. In 2010 he followed him to the Münchner Kammerspiele until 2015. Tachelet works as a guest dramaturg at the Opéra Bastille Paris, the Nederlandse Opera Amsterdam and the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, among others. He has also written numerous adaptations of non-theatrical texts such as Houellebecq’s or Joseph Roth’s novels and film scripts by Kieslowski/Piesiewicz.
