Henriette Müller studied fashion design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Pforzheim and the University of Applied Arts Vienna. After graduating, she worked as an assistant at the Vienna State Opera, the Schauspielhaus Vienna and the Münchner Kammerspiele. As a costume designer she worked, among others, at the Schauspielhaus Vienna, the Residenztheater Munich, the Theaterhaus Jena, the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Thalia Theater Hamburg. Hereby she developed continuous cooperations with the directors Caitlin van der Maas, Katrin Plötner, Michal Zadara and Johan Simons. In 2015 she received the Bavarian State Theatre's Nachwuchs-Förderpreis as a costume designer. In the 2018/19 season she designs the costume for Johan Simon's production Judas at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
