Christian Feras Kaddoura, born in 1991 in Witten, studied theatre and media studies at the Ruhr University Bochum. During his studies, he initially worked as a journalist and editor for :bsz and also for the platform KritikGestalten, for which he also worked as a musician.

After leaving school, he worked as a lyricist and bassist for the band "I Am Jerry" (Warner Music Germany), with whom he played at music festivals such as Rock am Ring, Hurricane, the Zeltfestival Ruhr and Bochum Total, toured Germany and also performed on TV programmes such as Circus Halligalli. As a performance artist and director, he developed and performed his own works Überbrückungszeit #1 - Alltag auf Shuffle-Modus and Überbrückungszeit #2 - Das Leben eines Künstlers at the ehrenfeldstudios in Cologne and at Tor 5, a former venue for scenic research at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.

He has been an assistant director at Schauspielhaus Bochum since 2021 (previously also as an intern, production assistant and assistant director at Schauspiel Dortmund).

As an assistant director, he has already worked with directors such as Johan Simons, Selen Kara, Julia Wissert, Saara Turunen, Christopher Rüping, Katharina Birch, Guy Clemens, Anna Stiepani, Tamó Gvenetadze, Sahar Rahimi and Franz-Xaver Mayr.

The Silent Servant by Harold Pinter is his first work as a director at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
