From lo-fi-folk to chamber-pop: While Julia Holter's first albums combined acoustic guitars with rustling field recordings and home-made synth sounds, in recent years there has been a tendency towards more classical arrangements. In the Kammerspiele, the Californian avant-garde pop artist presents her double album Aviary, which will be released in October 2018.
